Citizens in Defense of Defense......

“…..it’s high time that more ordinary citizens brought the fresh air of common sense thinking….” Ronald Reagan

To bring into the public forum, from a citizen's perspective why it is necessary for the US to have a strong Defense. To help educate and inform our fellow citizens of the nature and dangers facing our society today and inform the youth of foreign countries that, as President Ronald Reagan said:" America is Freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of enterprise. And freedom is special and rare. It's fragile, it needs protection"

Yesterday's State of the Union Address by President Bush gave a clear, strong and powerful message to the world. The US will continue to lead in the war on terrorism, in the creation of democracies and their protection by helping them in the establishment and preservation of the rule of law. He was adamant in his speech that decisions in Iraq as to when the troops are to return home are to be taken by military commanders and not politicians in Washington. (Take note Reid, Murtha, Kerry et.al, whose propaganda for retreat infested our lives ad nauseum. Interestingly, during the speech Kerry's head was noticeably bent and appeared as he was looking down lost in his own convoluted mind. )And quoting the President, "there is a difference between responsible criticism that aims for success, and defeatism that refuses to acknowledge anything but failure." ....
